The check salt inspect cell leds will be on when the cell reports the salt level is 2300ppm or less. Secondly maintain the proper salt level in the pool. Verify that the salt level is between 2700 3400 ppm. 2700 to 3500 is a typical range of operation but this will vary across the different scgs.

Check the cell voltage and amperage in both polarities. If your salt system is hardwired variations in voltage could cause the controller to go a little haywire.
